OPEN ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY AT KASARAGOD : 01 NOV TO 07 NOV 2011 

1.             An open recruitment rally for enrolment into Army will be organized by Army Recruiting Office, Calicut with effect from 01 Nov to  07 Nov 2011 for male candidates from  Districts of Kasaragod, Kannur, Calicut, Wayanad, Malappuram, Palghat, Thrissur and UT of  Mahe and Lakshadweep  for Soldier General Duty,  Soldier General Duty (Simple Matric Pass), Soldier Clerks/Stores Keeper, Soldier Nursing Assistant , Soldier Technical and Soldier Tradesmen. 

2.             Venue.  Venue of the rally is Municipal Stadium, Kasaragod. 
                                  
3.             Rally Schedule   Candidates desirous of enrolment into Army for the above categories should report to the rally site by 1600 hours a day prior to rally date and 0500 hours on rally day as per programme given below.

Should have secured 40% in each subject and 50% in aggregate in Cl XII.  Should have studied English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in SSLC or Cl XII.  Should have secured min 40% in each of these subjects, whether it was studied in Class X or Class XII.  If a candidate is graduate with Maths and English as his subject in BSc, the stipulation of scoring 40% in Class XII/SSLC is waived off.  In case he is graduate but not having English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping, he should have scored more that 40% in English & Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at least in Class SSLC or Class XII.

VHSC.   Part-I & II and Gp II or III of Part III with  50% marks in aggregate and min 40% in each subject if qualified in math or accounts in class 10th. Simple pass in VHSC if graduate.

Part I & II and Gp I or IV of Part III with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject if not qualified in math or accounts in class 10th.  Simple pass in VHSC if graduate.

5.             Documents required from candidates.  Each candidate should bring with him the following documents :-

                (a)           SSLC and PUC/10+2/Intermediate/ITI and higher education   certificate in ORIGINAL.  

                (b)           Fifteen copies of latest passport size colour photographs. (Polaroid  camera photos and Computer photos will        not be accepted)                       
               
                (c)           Nativity/Permanent  Residence certificate and Caste  Certificate from Tehsildar/Deputy Commissioner  in ORIGINAL in English.      Full name and designation of the officer issuing certificate must be recorded legibly.

                (d)           Character certificate from Village Officer/Local police officer in original not more than six months old.

                (e)           Relationship certificate and Discharge book in original giving details of the candidate in case of SOSS/SOEX.

                (f)            NCC `A’, `B’ & `C’ certificates in ORIGINAL in case of NCC candidates.

                (g)           Candidate between 17 ½  and 18 Years    Notarised affidavit on  Rs 10/-Non Judicial stamp paper in English          from  Parents as per performa given at the bottom of this notice.  

                (h)          Sports certificates should be from Government Federations/Sports Association of India/University and should           be with in 2 years from the date of screening.  

6.             DSC SEP (GD) FOR EX-SERVICEMEN ONLY  :-

                 (a)          Age    Age should be below 48 years for General Duty as on  06 Nov 2011 .
                 (b)           Education.      SSLC Pass or Army Certificate of Education III.
                 (c)          Gap between Discharge from former service and reenrolment.  Within 5 years from the date of discharge/retirement as on the date of screening.
                 (d)          Character.  Character assessed at the time of discharge from  Service should be VERY GOOD/EXEMPLARY.
                 (e)           Service.       Should have rendered minimum five years colour service in Army/Navy/Air Force.
                 (f)            Medical Category.   Should have been in medical category SHAPE-I on the day of discharge.
                (g)           All eligible Ex-serviceman of Kerala state desirous of re-enrolment into DSC are directed to register their names     with their respective ARO well in time to enable their pre-verification from respective Records Offices.  All DSC candidates             be advised to report alongwith investigations reports of (Blood Test (Hb %, TLC, DLC), Lipid profile, Blood sugar PP & Fasting), Urine      (RE & ME), X-Ray of Chest P-A view, ECG and blood Urea, S Creatinine, S-Cholesterol with report by concerned                 specialist from MH.  Investigation slip can be collected from respective AROs at the time of registration of their names.  All            eligible candidates from Kerala state not registered or having undergone medical tests as mentioned above may also                 register themselves for re-enrolment by submitting their discharge documents and obtaining medical investigations forms     at the Rally site on 06 Nov 2011.  The candidates will however be screened for re-enrolment only after receipt of pre-                verification from respective Records Offices.

(b)           I further affirm that I have allowed my son to participate in the rally at my own risk and in case my son gets injured during recruitment test/basic training, I will not prefer any claim on this account.  I have no objection in enrolling my son into Army.

Warning. 

(a).      Agents or touts have no role to play in the Army recruitment.  Beware of such touts.  If any tout or agent approaches you, please report the matter to nearest police station or Recruiting Officer in charge at rally site.          
(b).      No application are required for this recruitment rally.
(c)       Do not handover your original education certificates/other documents to touts or any other person.
(d)       All rights are reserved with this ARO regarding cancellation of candidature at any stage during the entire selection process
(e)       Possession/use of mobile phones by the candidate within the rally ground will lead to disqualification of his candidature. 
(f)        Candidates reporting without complete and correct documents will not be allowed to appear for recruitment test.
(g)       Candidates will not be allowed to change their trade once they have exercised             their option and undergone the physical tests.
