Lotus Parnasala- the new Landmark of Kerala. Lotus Parnasala, Santhigiri, Trivandrum.

Lotus Parnasala- the new Landmark of Kerala. Lotus Parnasala, Santhigiri, Trivandrum.

Lotus Parnasala, the magnificient 91 feet tall marble edifice at Santhigiri Ashram, Trivandrum, blooms again in a million hues.  A state- of the art LED lighting system, to be dedicated  today evening, will bathe the pristine white marble petals of the Parnasala, creating an illusion of a real Lotus in full bloom.
The lighting system orchestrates the light from 15000 tiny LEDs spread across the 1162 fixtures tucked away at innumerable vantage points in and around the Lotus Parnasala.  The pillars, the inner sanctum, the parasol shaped vaulted ceiling above trhe sanctum and the outer column are bathed in splendid  hues.  The final effect, of white and pink lotuses in full bloom against the star studded right sky, is nothing short of spectacular.

Santhigiri welcomes the world to this hallowed ground of divine presence.
